Our History

After a rewarding 27-year career in the Navy, Captain Rock Teague established Rock's Carolina Furniture in 1994. Born and raised in Thomasville, North Carolina, it was an easy transition to an industry he knew well. After retiring for a second time, Rock passed the business on to his youngest of four sons, Patrick. Under Patrick's leadership, the business has flourished and expanded to a new location in the London Bridge Shopping Plaza (next to TJ Maxx / Home Goods) in the heart of Virginia Beach. With Patrick at the helm, Rock's still upholds its original values as a family-owned and operated business that maintains a commitment to exceptional product selection and customer service, just as it did 30 years ago.
